INNER ALCHEMY

Hundreds of years ago Alchemists tried to change lead into gold. Naturally, they failed.  But they missed the real purpose of Alchemy which is a realization or awakening and merging together of spirit and matter to cultivate harmony and alignment.

 The whispers of your soul are urging you to move inwards to "GROW YOURSELF".  To plant the seeds of change and cultivate compassion and kindness towards your inner being, to re-evaluate your beliefs and check in with your values to make sure you are living in tune with them.

Inner Alchemy is an invitation to you to explore your inner world, whilst giving yourself the gift of time and stillness ,to honestly and with compassion examine your thoughts, emotions, and feelings. 

It is important to understand that the mind always does everything you ask of it. It is very obedient and completely neutral. It doesn't know the difference between good and bad, light or dark. So be careful the seeds you plant as thoughts are energy and the kind of thoughts we have can hold tremendous power for good or bad.  Negative thoughts can be seen as "energy pollution" and not only affect our inner world but that of everyone we come into contact with.

Once a negative thought is released into the ether it is attracted to other negative thoughts and quickly gathers momentum and power.  And before we know it and without meaning to we have played a part in creating and sustaining a culture of fear, greed, anger , anxiety and depression.  All the emotions we are seeing and feeling in our fragile world of today.

So I ask you to be your own alchemist, be vigilant and stand guard at the gateway of your mind. Choose who you let in and who you reject.  Embrace the positive, kind, compassionate and joyful thoughts, turn away that which doesn't serve you.  You will recognise who they are.

Re-remember that you are a heart-centered being and the power of your thoughts alone can awaken and heal the world.
